“Dan Pallotta inspired many community members during his recent presentation at our Community Impact Summit,” explains Lynne McCarron, Executive Director, United Way Cape Breton. “We have moved to a collective impact model and our overall focus is creating strong, healthy communities locally. We are helping to educate community members on the important work of non-profit organizations and how their work is vital to businesses being successful. Dan was able to frame this in a way that is helping to change how we think about the non-profit world, locally. Our volunteer campaign co-chair and local business owner Katherine van Nostrand says “I left Dan’s presentation with a new perspective on how the success of businesses and non-profits, alike, is critical to helping strengthen our communities. He inspired me to do more for my business as well as in my volunteer work.”
